Summary

The app had no favicon, so /favicon.ico fell through to the SPA fallback and returned
index.html; browsers showed a broken icon.

  • New icon derived from the portal's (Manrope "S" plus the red brand square), drawn as an
    indigo contract sheet with a red folded corner, so the tab is not mistaken for the portal.
  • favicon.svg (with a light outline in dark mode), favicon.ico (16/32/48) and
    apple-touch-icon.png (180, white background) in ContractService.Web/public/.
  • index.html links the icons and sets theme-color to brand indigo.

Testing

  • npm run lint, npm run build: icons are copied to dist
  • Local backend: /favicon.ico, /favicon.svg and /apple-touch-icon.png return image
    content types instead of HTML
